This in ground garden space was created from a once used alpaca pen. The ground was compacted from years of hooves. A broad fork was used to loosen the soil. Several inches of compost were added. Irrigation was installed. The beds were planted and within weeks they began producing. Keeping up with the green bean harvest was a challenge that the client was up for. Harvests of radishes, tomatoes, peppers and arugula kept them with homegrown veggies for dinner. They’re still awaiting cabbage, peas, onions, and garlic to harvest.
