We helped this client by doing a garden refresh. They already had their garden area ready. They wanted to learn how to grow potatoes. We shared knowledge of our experiences and successes. We sowed carrots and planted tomatoes with them. We did a check in and love how they’ve improvised. They’ve protected their plants with netting due to the hungry deer nibbling their tasty leaves.

For those of you who are visiting us from out of state, here’s a great picture showing the challenge we face growing in Florida. Our state doesn’t have soil. Instead, we have sand known as Myakka. Gardens thrive here when lots of compost is added.
