Winter Recap
Hi Gardening Friends 👋🏼
Over the winter I moved from the farm where I spent the last 10 years with my late husband to our home on the Homosassa River that we share with my sister. The farm was where I learned my best gardening skills and consistently succeeded. The river house leaves a much smaller growing space for me, but I look forward to the challenge of creating a smaller garden. This garden creation hasn’t been a priority because I’ve been traveling and focusing on learning, but primarily because we’re still repairing the home from Hurricane Helene. She brought in 2 and a half feet of water. It’s been a slow process, and I’m forever grateful to my sister for coordinating all of the repairs. I foresee having my new garden space ready to plant in the fall. Until then, I’m going to focus on small space container and patio gardening. Below are examples of planters I’ve created. Until next time…...
